Nothing is ever sure. I started the season, in 2011, with a new team that was getting a new ballpark in a new league. A month and half later, we were all scrambling to find new teams, abandoning the sinking ship. We weren’t getting paid, we were on the road for the first 7 weeks of the season, we flew overnight flights to every series. Exhausted, we found ways to win and were a part of one of the best stories in minor league baseball.
